Terms of Service

Cortex provides software for company operations across leadership (COS), people ops (HRMS), and employees (ERMS), including ask-with-sources, human-gated approvals, connectors, workspace tooling, APIs, and related services.

Features may change, be introduced, or be discontinued as the platform evolves.

You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for activity performed through your account.

You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Organizations may designate administrators with permission to manage users, settings, integrations, data, and other organization resources across COS, HRMS, and ERMS seats.

You may not use Cortex:

• for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activities;
• to violate the rights of another person or organization;
• to send communications without the consent required by applicable law or telecommunications rules;
• to distribute malware or attempt unauthorized access to systems;
• to interfere with the availability or security of Cortex;
• to circumvent service limits, approval gates, or technical restrictions;
• to impersonate another person or organization without authorization; or
• to use connected communications or messaging features in violation of applicable carrier, messaging, telemarketing, privacy, or communications requirements.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of Cortex and connected services complies with applicable laws and industry requirements, including data protection, employment, and marketing laws that apply to their organization.

We may communicate with you through email, application notifications, SMS, or other channels concerning your account, requested services, security, billing, support, demos, waitlist status, and other service-related matters.

SMS communications are subject to the additional terms below.

Program Name:Cortex Account & Service Alerts

Users who voluntarily opt in may receive SMS communications from Cortex, operated by Zeto Tech Labs Private Limited.

Messages may include 2FA and OTP codes, login and security alerts, account notifications, account changes, billing and payment alerts, usage alerts, service updates, and support notifications.

Users may opt in through the Cortex signup or account process by providing a mobile number and selecting the separate SMS consent checkbox.

The SMS checkbox is optional and is not pre-selected.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or creating a Cortex account.

Message frequency varies depending on your account activity and use of Cortex. Messages may be recurring.

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and plan. Cortex is not responsible for charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

Reply STOP to any Cortex SMS to opt out.

After opting out, you will receive confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive SMS messages covered by the messaging program unless you subsequently opt in again.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS delivery may be affected by your carrier, device availability, network conditions, and other factors outside Cortex’s control.

Our handling of personal information and mobile information is described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell or share SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Use of Cortex is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

Cortex may allow you or your organization to connect third-party accounts and services, including Google accounts and Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Notion, Jira, Confluence, Zoom, and other connectors, to enable product features such as sourced answers, calendars, knowledge sync, automations, and role-right views.

When you connect Google, you authorize Cortex to access the Google data and permissions shown on Google’s OAuth consent screen for that connection. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of connected Google accounts complies with Google’s terms and policies and with applicable law.

Cortex’s access to, use of, and transfer of Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy, including our commitment to the Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements.

You may disconnect Google integrations in Cortex and revoke access at any time through your Google Account security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions).
